iPhone with 2 Screens! Hey, what's up guys? Keaton here. So today we're going to be checking out a
two-screened iPhone. Pretty crazy, right? Before we do, I wanna give a Snapchat shout
out to tommy.cali305. So if you guys wanna feature in the next video,
add me on Snapchat. Here's my code. Or just type in Keaton, and I'll wait. Okay, now that you've added me. Let's go check it out. Why are there police cars outside my window? So this right here is what adds that second
screen to your iPhone. It goes for 80 bucks, link's below. And I know what you're thinking. Why/What even is this? And basically it's a black and white display
that goes on the back of your iPhone 6 or 6s.
So in my case, I got and iPhone 6 here. So before we check it out. What do you get inside the box? It's some pretty interesting stuff. You get a manual that is poorly written. Whatever. I made do. And then you get the charging cable, which
I think is absolutely hilarious. This is the cable, and here is how you charge
it. Do you see that? What? What even? Like. It's like a 30 pin cable. Like the old-ass 30 pin cables had a baby,
I know I have like everything here, you know, next thing you know I'm grabbing food, water,
a little TV episode, got everything up here. It's like this 30 pin connector had a baby
with the Magsafe connector, like which you charge your laptop, to form this. Like, good, we couldn't have had a micro USB
cable, or something simple? You gotta carry around this? And what this does is it plugs right in to
the case. So the case charges separately from the phone. So the case itself isn't too complex. I mean, it's made out of plastic. It's not too thick. So once it's installed on your iPhone it's
gonna keep a pretty slim profile.
I would say it's around, just to give you
guys kind of a good comparison, It's around one and a half iPhone sixes. This case connects to your iPhone via Bluetooth,
but you can't connect it to Bluetooth in the Bluetooth menu. You have to do it through the app. You fire up the app, and go to device list,
and then make sure it's connected, it'll kinda auto-connect too. That's pretty much it for getting it connected. Now you kinda need to understand how it actually
works. So you have a total of four buttons. You have your left, your right, your center,
and then your actual physical button. The actual physical button will turn the case
on, off, and even put it to sleep mode. And then there are these kind of capacitive
buttons on the screen which surprisingly work well.
I thought they would be horrible, unresponsive. But like, they work pretty well. So to navigate here I gotta wake it up. The Zs here, mean it's sleeping. You see your battery life, you see that's
connected in the bottom. So to wake it up, you hit the button here. It flashes to let you know that everything
is refreshed. To go right here, you just tap the button. Not really a button, the onscreen fake button. To the left, same thing. Now to access the menu on the case, hit the
center button twice. Then you navigate through there. The battery life of this guy is pretty good. I was getting around two weeks on a charge,
with the weird cable, and I mean, after all it is a black and white image, so it's not
gonna be crazy like your iPhone which you gotta charge once a day. So you're probably thinking what does this
inkCase even do? And it does a total of three things, but actually
only two things.
And I've actually checked out some other stuff
like wirelessly charging your iPhone for only nine bucks. If you haven't seen that video check it out
right up here. And one of those is you can load photos on
this black and white display. And just for perspective, this display is
4.3 inches, and my iPhone's display here, my iPhone 6 here is 4.7 inches. So it's legit, like having a second iPhone
screen on the back of your phone. It's cool. So you can load photos on here, and that's
done through their inkCase app. So for example, let's go ahead and add a photo. You can take one or upload one from the gallery. Gotta get a good selfie here. We'll use, we'll take one of my iPhone 'cause
iPhoneception. So now that I got my selfie taken. I think it's a pretty good selfie. We can make it brighter. And since this is black and white these things
kinda do matter. We can make it super dark, add some contrast. You know, do whatever. Then hit finish, and then from there you hit
this rocket ship button, which I think it's like the coolest part, you send it to space,
or in this case, you send it to the back of the phone.
It's gonna say "sending". And boom, you can send photos on your phone. Now another thing you can do, is read books. You heard that right, you can read a book
from the back of your iPhone. Who would have ever thought? So if you enjoy reading, or you have like
a nook where you like that black and white display. You can now get it on the back of your phone
and, to be honest, it's kinda nice to disconnect from the digital side of everything, where
you get notifications in left and right, and just kind of like read a book on the back
of your phone.
It's crazy! So you can load your own books through the
iBooks store, or just go to some of their pre-loaded books. So, for example we got A Christmas Carol,
which I'm not buying any books, so I've been re-reading A Christmas Carol, that's pretty
much what I wanted to tell you guys. And then from there you hit send, and it will
send it to the back of your phone.
So, look at it and I am now reading a book
on the back of my phone. Wow, I feel so cool. To navigate through the different apps you
just double tap the center button here. Okay, there I got it. And so photos is the first one. The book is the second one. And then this third one is supposed to be
for notifications. And this is the one that doesn't work. If you read this quickly here it says go for
an update, but when you go on the site there's no update. So yeah, having a second screen in your iPhone
is pretty crazy. But yeah, unless you wanna read books and
put photos on the back of your screen, it's not really worth the 80 bucks.
So that's pretty much it for this video. If you guys enjoyed it and made it to the
end drop a like on it, and go and get subscribed for Neuron here. Just hit the icon, right here, click it, it
works on mobile too, and you'll get subscribed pretty easily. Go and follow me on Snapchat, so you guys
get that shout out in the next video. Here's my code, or just add Keaton, and you'll
have me on Snapchat. So yeah, I'll see you guys soon. Peace..
